CYTOMEGALO VIRUS (CMV) – IgM

0

What is Cytomegalovirus ?

Cytomegalovirus infection usually goes unnoticed in healthy people, but it can be fatal in immunocompromised people such as HIV-infected people, organ transplant recipients, or newborn babies. Seronegative female patients infected during pregnancy can transmit the disease to the developing fetus, resulting in congenital abnormalities. The Cytomegalo Virus – IgM test is important for assessing the patient’s immunity status. IgM antibodies against CMV, if detected can persist for 2 to 9 months after the initial infection. Positive IgM results in neonates have a high probability of being an indication of congenital or neonatal infection.

What is COVID Antibody test?

COVID Antibody test is used to recognize individuals with the adaptive immune response against SARS-CoV-2, which indicates a recent or prior infection. Generally, IgG antibodies start to develop after 2 weeks from the onset or after recovering from an infection. COVID Antibody IgG – C.L.I.A is a serology test used to assess the antibodies in people exposed to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). It will help to understand an individual’s level of viral exposure by assessing IgG antibodies against it.

What is Blood Ketone (D3HB) Test?

Ketones are chemicals that are produced by the body if cells do not get enough glucose. Blood Ketone (D3HB) Test, which determines the level of ketones in the blood. Elevated ketone levels are also seen if a person is fasting, exercising, or consuming more dietary fats than usual or is on diet with restricted calories. High ketone levels may indicate a life-threatening complication of Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), in which the blood becomes too acidic.

What is COVID Antibody total?

Antibodies are proteins of the immune system that help in fighting off infections. They are produced by the immune system when it encounters a pathogen. Antibodies help you fight off pathogens and can protect you from getting re-infected.
COVID Antibody total, a serology-based test, detects IgG and IgM antibodies in your blood which fight off the Coronavirus. The presence of IgM indicates a recent viral infection or vaccination. The presence of IgG determines the past infection or exposure to the virus.

What is Elements 22 ?

Elements 22 screens for the 14 toxic elements and 8 nutrients in the body. These elements are essential for life and are taken up in the form of dietary supplements. Excess or less of the minerals can lead to health complications. Toxic elements if present in high amounts in the body or prolonged exposure can lead to toxicity and adverse health effects.

What is Cancer antigen 15.3?

Cancer antigen 15.3 (CA 15.3), a protein produced by normal breast cells, is used as a biomarker to monitor cancerous breast tumors. It helps in determining the effectiveness of treatment and disease recurrence. Normal levels of Cancer antigen 15.3 (CA 15.3) protein are produced by breast cells, however, increased production is observed in the case of breast cancer. CA 15.3 levels are also elevated in individuals with other cancers or diseases, such as colorectal cancer, lung cancer, cirrhosis, Hepatitis, and Benign Breast Disease.

CA 19.9

0

What is CA 19.9 ?

CA 19.9 is a tumor-associated antigen that is elevated mostly in patients with Advanced Pancreatic Cancer. CA 19.9 levels may also be elevated in other cancers, conditions, or diseases such as colorectal cancer, lung cancer, gall bladder cancer, gallstones, pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, or liver disease. Although, increase in the levels of CA 19.9 does not distinctively suggest pancreatic cancer, currently, it is the single most useful blood test to differentiate benign disorders from malignant ones.

COVID ANTIBODY IGG – ELISA

What is Covid Antibody IgG – ELISA ?

Covid Antibody IgG – ELISA is a sero-surveillance test to understand the immune response against COVID-19 infection. This test detects the presence of IgG antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. However, the presence of antibodies indicates exposure to the virus. The presence of current infection or complete recovery from the infection cannot be interpreted from this test, for which RT-PCR may opt. The patient’s medical history, physical findings, and other diagnostic procedures should be taken into consideration for the interpretation of obtained results.
