What is COVID Antibody IgM ?
Antibody production is the first line of defense against any pathogen. IgM is the first antibody produced in response to attack and is primarily detectable during the early onset of a disease.
COVID Antibody IgM is used to semi-quantitatively detect these IgM antibodies in blood plasma and serum.
If your COVID Antibody IgM test is positive, it indicates that –
1. You have been infected or vaccinated recently
2. Your immune system has started responding to the virus
3. You may be infected with COVID or recovered recently
4. Your body has started responding to the vaccine – Post Vaccination
